Who we are

Macsential is operated by Nguyen Truong Duy. These terms cover the Macsential website and native macOS utility app. Contact us at hello@macsential.com for purchase, license, or support questions.

What you get

Macsential combines screen recording and editing, file and media tools, and window management in a native Mac app. The website describes the currently available tools and system requirements. Tools marked “Soon” are planned features, with no promised release date. Buy based on what is available today.

A paid license covers one active Mac at a time. You may move it to another Mac by deactivating the previous Mac. Keep your license key private; do not share, resell, or publish it for other people to use. You are responsible for having permission to record or process the content you use with the app.

Pay once, keep eligible versions

Your initial license includes one calendar year of updates from purchase. Versions released within your update period remain eligible for use after that period ends. Continued compatibility with future macOS versions is not guaranteed.

Renewing updates is optional and is a separate, one-time purchase. A renewal adds one calendar year from the later of your existing update cutoff or the renewal payment date. There is no automatic renewal, recurring charge, or subscription to cancel. Free offers and the versions they cover are described when offered.

Prices and payment

Current prices and limited launch offers appear on our pricing page. The checkout shows the price, currency, discounts, and any applicable taxes before payment. Pricing may differ by market. A price change does not alter a completed purchase.

International purchases are sold and processed by Paddle as merchant of record, under Paddle’s buyer terms. Vietnam bank-transfer purchases use SePay for payment confirmation. A license is issued after payment is confirmed, using the email address supplied at checkout.

Refunds and cancellations

You may request a full refund within 14 days of a purchase or update renewal, no questions asked. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for how to request one and how it affects your license. This policy does not limit mandatory consumer rights.

Your files, privacy, and support

Keep backups of important files and recordings. macOS permissions control features such as screen recording, microphone, camera, and accessibility. You decide which permissions to grant. Our Privacy Policy explains local processing and the information used for licensing, purchases, and the website.

If something fails, email hello@macsential.com with the app version and a description of the problem. Send recordings or other personal files only if you choose to share them for support.

Changes and your rights

We may update these terms as the product changes and will show the effective date here. Changes do not remove the perpetual use or included update period of a completed purchase. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
